In 2008, we committed $25 million in capital investment to double our impeller and blisk capacity by expanding our Santa Fe Springs, CA, facility and starting up impeller and blisk production in our Thomasville, GA, facility. That's why TECT has more 5-axis capacity than any other non-OEM impeller, IBR or blisk manufacturer in the industry. TECT Power also produces disks, hubs, shafts, rings and seals. And our completely integrated supply chain allows us to respond quickly to all your complex rotating part needs.

We can manufacture highly complex impeller designs with our state-of-the-art 5-axis contour milling, CNC turning and electro-discharge milling (EDM) machines. In fact, we've custom designed and built our own cutting-edge equipment to produce impellers.

Multi-Axis and Conventional Turning

TECT Power's multi-axis turning centers are capable of conventional turning and multi-axis turning. Our use of dedicated tooling reduces lead times and ensures the optimal precision machining of every component we make.

Specifications

TECT Power's conventional turning capabilities can handle diameters up to 180 inches and height up to 60 inches, with milling for interior and exterior features. We have both horizontal and vertical Turning centers and vertical Milling center that can handle most large diameter products made of virtually any Aerospace material application.
